Countdown 2033
2033 will be the year that commemorates the passing of 2,000 years from Christ's crucifixion, burial and resurrection. This is a year for Christians to come in celebration, homage, worship and praise for our Saviour who died to redeem us and the world from sin. 2033 also marks 2000 years from the start of the Christian church and will be celebrated across the globe as an occassion of thanksgiving.
Churches and Christian event organisers are already planning for 2033. It is likely that most gatherings will happen around Easter and Pentecost. Prayer Watch 33 will be holding our own event(s) later in the year on September the 22nd 2033, this being the target date at the end PW33's 11 year Prayer Watch. I am hopeful that our own gathering can merge somehow into the festival of Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets) that starts at sundown the following day on the 23rd.
